This book is about the many testimonies through my life that became turning points with God, also how God showed up and became my hero through it all as He took me on a journey of recovery and healing. It starts with me at a very young age being faced with a huge life altering tragedy, then as I grew how it affected my sense of wellbeing. I saw life through traumatic eyes and because of this, I made things worse with the bad choices I continued to make. Which made for a very dark teenage experience, but God didn't ever give up on me no matter how bad it got, He still showed up in my life continuously. I also share the stories about the undeniable experiences I had with Him many times; that's when God showed up for real! And it was when I finally gave in to Him that my life was taken from terrible, to absolutely wonderful with Him. Then next, I talk about how God walked me through all the processes of changing from a broken little girl to a woman of faith that loves God with all her heart. As I also walk you through them just as He walked me through. Julie Lobato born in 1969 in Fresno, California. Who is Lauretta Joyner? She is someone who cares and is concerned about family values consistently being devalued in society. Her experience included being a substitute teacher as well as, volunteered for a non-profit organization teaching others how to read. Respectively, she wants to awaken the hearts and minds of those concerned with giving children the tools needed to be their best. Her book, "Respect Me" helps to impart one of those values that needs to be instilled at childhood to give children a great head start in becoming successful in life.
To fight the epidemic known as childhood obesity, to empower our young children to not only learn how much they need to eat to keep their bodies running, but to allow them to make changes if they aren’t comfortable in their own skin.
To help parents learn what they can do. These are the reasons for this book.
Parents, I understand. Like me, you want the best for your child.
So let me help you and let’s make as many children as we can “ice cream for dinner kids.” We can work together so that our children will have the tools and learn lessons they can carry on through life.
Together we can put a dent in the epidemic of childhood obesity in the USA.

About the Book: From the time of John being exiled to the Isle of Patmos, he saw visions of heaven. He saw the Throne Room of God. He saw angels, cherubim, souls, nations (peoples), living beasts before the Throne. He described them all in glorious detail. Then, John was shown images from the beginning of time through the end of time. Fantastic scenes of dangerous beasts, dragons with multiple heads, a prostitute who rode a dragon - and her destruction. But what did it all mean? Delve into the story. Find the meanings of the images John saw. Learn about the terrible things that are to come for the human race - and the One who comes to save them all! About the Author: Raised Southern Baptist, ordained Pentecostal (Connersville First Assembly), and now a Licensed Lay Preacher in the Episcopal Church - Diocese of Central Florida. In 2008, she, like many others, were questioning the "2012 Destruction" date that was predicted. For four years, she spent eight to ten hours per day, every day, reading and studying everything she could find that was written on the subject. Then, for two years, she wrote the first edition of Revelation - What John Knew. This new book incorporates several changes - especially cutting long passages and summarizing the content, making the book easier to read. What others say: Barbara Schobl-Legee 's approach to eschatology, which she calls prophesy, is unique in that she points out the basis for the visions of John in detail by stating that John knew these symbols from his studies of Hebrew history. She challenges the Systematic Theologies of the Dispensationalists and the Adventists. Her use of the Old Testament in interpreting the New is unique and refreshing. Prepare to be changed as you read, "Revelation: What John Knew." - Evangelist Greg Presley Daytona Beach, FL
In this memoir, Cecily Watson Kelln leaves the comforts of her childhood “Cackleberry Farm” to face womanhood and adventures as she searches for love and security. Faced with divorce, rejection and despair, it is her mother’s exemplary Christian faith that keeps her hopeful about life.
This is a true story which takes the reader through many exotic experiences, such as two years in Peru with the Peace Corps, a cold winter in a tent, and a psychedelic baptism. Becoming the Admiral’s Wife is an alluring testimony of the author’s search to know God, and how she eventually finds Him in several dramatic encounters with Jesus Christ.
By God’s mercy and grace, she unexpectedly meets a loving Christian man, a retired Rear Admiral, who is thirteen years her senior. The two fall in love, court, and marry. The book is called a dual memoir because chronological excerpts of his fast-track career in the early years of the nuclear Navy are sprinkled throughout. Their combined story illustrates the power of a Christ-centered marriage and inspires readers to patiently trust in God’s divine plan for their own lives. |
