About The Author

I had started writing poetry just after that car crash in April 1992 with my first poem being For Love We Will Always Know. Throughout the years writing poetry soothed me. I moved to Indianapolis Indiana to work for the State Government. I continued honing my computer skills working in the Department of System Technology as Project Manager, Systems Analyst and Programmer Supervisor. I completed my Bachelors Degree in Applied Computer Science and went on to get my Masters of Information Systems. I remarried and became a father with my beautiful daughter being born in February 2004. I resigned from the State of Indiana Department of Health and took a consulting job in Sacramento California as a Business Analyst for the Department of Defense. After nine months, I interviewed for a position at JP Morgan Chase as Vice President level Business Analyst Manager and received the job offer and transfer to the Dallas Fort Worth area. The last position I held was as VP Senior Project Manager. I was forced to take early retirement due to my earlier injuries. Just before my daughter was born in 2004 I converted to the Eastern Orthodox Christianity. I feel at peace when reading the Holy Bible, watching Biblical videos. Everything just makes sense to me. I have been writing poetry for the last 31 years. Instead of writing in a journal or diary, I write a poem. Most of my collection was written between 2:00 to 4:00am usually having only minor corrections. I have worked on publishing my collection of poems for years and finally realizing my dream with this book. I am glad to share these poems with you which represents my path in life.
